Omid is a water resources engineering Ph.D. student at New York University Tandon School of Engineering and is working on designing next-generation urban stormwater infrastructure to improve its resilience to hydroclimatic stressors. Omid has published several articles about new techniques to improve the sustainability of water systems. His aspirations extend far beyond the confines of his current academic journey. Omid envisions a future where he is a professor, specializing in artificial intelligence and focusing on solving sustainability challenges within urban water systems. To reach this goal, he is diligently honing his expertise in water systems, hydrology, and hydraulics while acquiring AI and data science skills.
